A JOURNEY LOOKING BACK AT HALF OF THE VIETHOPE FELLOW PROGRAM (VFP) SEASON 2

The six-month journey with VFP has been full of experiences, lessons, and personal growth for the Fellows. Therefore, the Mid-Year Reflection session was not only an opportunity to look back but also a moment for each Fellow to reflect deeply on their personal development journey, while also allowing the Executive Board (EB) to assess the effectiveness of the VFP program halfway through the cycle.

From the first meeting with VFP Season 2 to five intensive training sessions, the Fellows have learned and developed core skills together:
– Leadership – Skills in leading and managing teams effectively.
– Communication – Professional and persuasive communication.
– Program Management – Planning and managing work systematically.
– Critical Thinking & Problem Solving – Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
– Time Management & Leading Meetings – Efficient time management and meeting facilitation.

The reflection session provided an opportunity for Fellows to contemplate and review their journey by answering questions such as: “What have you learned? How have you changed? And how will you move forward?”

It was also a chance to consolidate past lessons to build a solid foundation for the future. The road ahead is long, and it is important to continuously improve so that Fellows can reach their goals more successfully.

Through this reflection session, the EB also had the opportunity to hear feedback on what has been done well and what needs improvement over the past six months, enabling better enhancement and development in the months to come.
