|HUMAN OF VIETHOPE| Volunteer of the Month – Đồng Minh Cường: Growing Together with VietHope
From a VietHope scholarship student, Đồng Minh Cường – F13 generation – has chosen to accompany the organization in a new way: not only with gratitude but with persistent commitment and a strong sense of responsibility. After the Summit Summer Camp, he quietly continued his journey as a Newsletter Assistant, and now holds the position of Newsletter Manager – coordinating the content of the organization’s official newsletter.

During the recent VietHope Fellowship Program, the challenge that Cường recalls most was not unexpected incidents or work pressure, but a familiar yet never easy question: how to balance personal life with program deadlines. In the most uncertain moments, the timely support from the executive team and Fellows became a foundation, reinforcing his belief that at VietHope, no one has to walk alone. What keeps him deeply connected to this place is not just the skills honed through each task, but the genuine relationships among people with shared ideals. It’s the timely messages of care, the feeling of being heard even in small matters, and the F13 peers – who continue to accompany, share, and grow with Minh Cường along every step of the journey.
After several seasons of involvement, Cường realizes he has learned to listen more, empathize more, and mature not only in work but also in life. He constantly reminds himself: “Sometimes you win – sometimes you learn.” For Cường, every challenge is not a failure but an opportunity to reflect, learn, and keep moving forward – with gratitude and an open heart.
Congratulations to Minh Cường – who has helped ignite VietHope’s spirit of sharing and commitment through every small action. May his story continue to inspire the next steps, so that the journey of “giving and growing together” carries on across generations.
