[Summit 2026] Celebrating 10 Years Of Summit Hue: A Decade Of Impact & Empowerment

On August 8th, the VietHope community gathered in Hue to mark a milestone decade of Summit Hue, a journey that began with a single belief in empowering Vietnam’s youth through education.

The story of a decade ago unfolded with profound emotion as we honored the return of Mr. Phong Nguyen – former Executive Director of VietHope, who planted the very first seeds of Summit in Hue. Adding to the depth of the celebration was the presence of Mr. Duc Minh and Mr. Khoa, key leaders who stood shoulder to shoulder with Mr. Phong Nguyen to patiently lay the foundational bricks for Summit Hue.

The reunion was further enriched by the participation of Ms. Ha Huynh (Executive Director of VietHope), Mr. Dong Le (Program Director), Mr. Doan Le Minh Khoi (Program Manager), Ms. Thu Hue Truong (VietHope Representative in Hue), alongside numerous Alumni who have been dedicated to VietHope over many years.

A defining highlight of the evening was an invaluable musical gift from two special guest artists, Ms. Tu Minh and Mr. Chuong. Together, they created an intimate performance atmosphere, culminating in the melody of “From a Single Belief” – an original song composed by Ms. Tu Minh specifically for VietHope. Each lyric served as an invisible thread connecting hearts driven by a shared desire to give back.

A decade of impact opens an even brighter chapter for the next generation. We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors, partners, mentors, and alumni who have quietly cultivated sustainable value for VietHope’s past, present, and future endeavors.
