What Does The Merit Development Program (MDP) 2026 Offer?

The Merit Development Program (MDP) is an annual scholarship program organized by VietHope for high school students in Can Gio (Ho Chi Minh City) and Hue who attend VietHope’s partner schools. MDP serves as a meaningful, practical initiative dedicated to supporting resilient students who continuously overcome adversity to pursue their education.

Through MDP, VietHope provides more than financial aid; we foster holistic development, empowering students with the confidence and resilience needed to achieve their dreams.

Recipients of the MDP 2026 scholarship will receive:

  • $130 USD per student per academic year
  • Comprehensive personal and interpersonal skill development workshops
  • Structured career orientation programs
  • Eligibility to apply for the VietHope Student Development Program (VSDP) scholarship upon entering university
