[Human Of Viethope] Honoring The F14 Cohort In Hue: Celebrating Academic Excellence & Community Leadership At Graduation

As graduation season sweeps across campuses, the VietHope family takes immense pride in celebrating a milestone moment: the official graduation of our F14 scholarship recipients from Hue.

Beyond serving as core organizers and volunteers across VietHope’s flagship initiatives, including the Summit, VSDP, MDP, and various community projects, the F14 Hue Cohort achieved remarkable academic success. 100% of the cohort graduated with High Distinction or Distinction honors, alongside prestigious accolades including Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Outstanding Youth Member awards for the entire academic term.

Looking back on their 4 to 5-year journey, the maturity and achievements of these young leaders stand as a testament to VietHope’s core values: paying it forward and serving the community. Their success is the most meaningful expression of gratitude to our donors, partners, volunteers, and alumni network, the silent champions who consistently plant seeds of hope, enabling young talents to learn, lead, and thrive.

Mr. Le Van Giap – Valedictorian, Bachelor of Social Work, University of Sciences, Hue University

Sharing the secret behind his outstanding academic achievements, Giap emphasizes the power of effective time management: “I break down my tasks and address immediate priorities straight away. My philosophy is simple: once you make a commitment, pursue it to completion.”

Reflecting on his growth from a student participant to a volunteer, Giap shares that his most memorable milestone was seeing his team’s initiatives sustained and thriving even during his absence. “That moment made me realize how much I had grown, particularly in teamwork, active listening, and collaborative problem-solving.”

Addressing the next generation of youth, the Valedictorian offers encouraging advice: “Be bold and step beyond your comfort zone. The journey may be demanding, but every challenge fosters personal growth. VietHope is more than a platform for social action, it is a home where you invest your youth and gain lifelong lessons and enduring friendships. I hope that when you become Alumni, you will take pride in knowing that you left a meaningful footprint here.”

Mr. Truong Ngoc Hoang – High Distinction Graduate in Digital Media, University of Sciences, Hue University

Looking back on his four-year journey, Hoang shares: “The ultimate drive behind balancing my academic studies with my dedication to VietHope has been a profound sense of responsibility, a commitment to service, and absolute faith in the impact VietHope creates for the community. I never view tight deadlines as a burden, but rather as a mission and a valuable opportunity for continuous learning and self-development.”

Through flagship programs such as Summit, VSDP, and VFP, VietHope provided Hoang with an empowering environment to hone his leadership skills, critical thinking, and empathy. His most cherished memory remains the preparation phase for the VietHope Summit: “Despite the intense pressure of overlapping program execution and mid-term exams, our VietHope family pulled all-nighters together to deliver the project. Witnessing the radiant smiles of the participating students made me realize that we had achieved something truly meaningful, we learned to live for the community.”

Expressing deep gratitude to sponsors and alumni mentors, Hoang notes: “This journey would not have been complete without the unwavering guidance of our generous donors and senior Alumni. To our future volunteers, I encourage you to keep your minds sharp and your hearts passionate. VietHope is not just where you give back, it is where you discover the most brilliant version of yourself.”

Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan – Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University | Exemplary Youth Union Member (2021-2026)

With a warm smile, Lan shares that her success comes down to proactive planning. “My greatest motivation is the fulfillment of doing meaningful work. There were moments of sheer exhaustion during field operations, such as our challenging MDP scholarship assessment trips, yet meeting the underprivileged students directly and understanding their perseverance made every effort deeply rewarding.”

The VietHope ecosystem transformed Lan from a reserved student into a confident, proactive young leader skilled at fostering team cohesion. Expressing sincere gratitude to donors and alumni for their continued trust, Lan extends her heartfelt message to junior members: “Treasure every moment with VietHope. This is a place to grow and build lasting friendships. Wherever our future paths may lead, may we always take pride in saying: ‘I am an enduring part of VietHope.’”

Mr. Cao Huu Minh – Distinction Graduate in Digital Media, University of Sciences, Hue University

On balancing academic excellence with active community leadership at VietHope, Minh reflects candidly: “I wouldn’t say I am a perfect time manager, there were times I felt overwhelmed. My approach was to prevent academic backlog by completing coursework ahead of VietHope’s peak project cycles. I love community work, but I always maintain that my academic duties remain my primary responsibility.”

Minh credits VietHope as an irreplaceable “real-world classroom” that refined his interpersonal and professional competencies: “Real projects, real deadlines, and real challenges taught me clear communication, proactive inquiry, and early escalation over silent troubleshooting.”

Having been involved since the early days of his university journey, Minh deeply appreciates the core strength of the VietHope network: “Thank you to our valued donors and alumni mentors. What students receive here extends far beyond financial scholarships, it is a compassionate, lifelong support community. I hope future generations leverage these opportunities to their fullest potential and continue multiplying this positive impact.”

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Sang – Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University | Top 7 Exemplary Youth Union Member (2021-2026)

The driving force behind Sang’s five-year journey of balancing rigorous medical studies with extensive volunteer commitments can be summarized in one word: gratitude. “VietHope provided not only vital financial assistance during difficult times, but also an extraordinary platform for capacity building and networking. As someone who initially preferred working independently, participating in community projects at the SOS Children’s Village in Hue transformed my perspective entirely. I learned that collective strength far outweighs individual capability.”

In his closing tribute to donors and predecessors, Sang expresses deep appreciation for the trust that empowered his confidence. Addressing the rising cohorts of F15 and F16 scholars, he conveys an inspiring vision: “Engage boldly and embrace every experience. Every project and every connection will shape your character. Having once been a recipient of support, I am dedicated to passing that impact forward today. I hope that when you are able, you too will step forward as opportunity-creators for the generations behind you.”
