ADP: “Preparing for jobs” training series is back
The training series “Preparing for jobs” has long been well received by the Alumni, and VietHope has received lots of positive feedback from the participants. Therefore, VietHope continues to provide a series of training sessions with the theme “Preparing for jobs” in 2021 which besides the fundamental and helpful knowledge, included new insights about the recent changes in job market to help participants get closer to the job they want.
The training was led by veterans who have extensive knowledge of the job market as well as experience in CV evaluation and interviewing candidates for a variety of positions, which we want to share with VietHope Alumni members. Program information:
Session 1 (May 29): Looking for future jobs and changes during the pandemic.
The skill “Searching for future jobs and changes during the pandemic” led by Mr. Tung Do and Ms. Minh Huong.
Mr. Tung is currently a Software Engineer in the US and also the Chairman of VietHope.
Ms. Huong is currently Deputy Head of Human Resources Department in charge of Employer Brand Unilever Vietnam.
Session 2 (May 30): CV writing skills
CV Writing skills workshop was guided by Ms. Nhung Vu – the Head of Talent Recruitment Department of Lazada Group Vietnam.
Session 3 (5/6): Interview skills
Interviewing skills were taught by Ms. Minh Ha. She is currently the Head of Personnel and Organization Department, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) HCMC. Ms. Ha is also a member of VietHope’s Board of Directors. Furthermore, the program also had the presence of Ms. Mai Duong, who accompanied Ms. Minh Ha to guide interview skills for VietHope alumni who registered to attend the morning program on June 5, 2021. Ms. Mai is currently working in Biostatistics in the US and is the Co-Chair of VietHope.
Session 4 (6/6): Mock Interview.
The final session of the training series included the intimate sharing session from all five previous speakers. What could be better than hearing personal insights about the job market through 5 frames of mind, each with a unique and novel perspective? The series concluded with a wealth of experience and advice for our students!
